Pickup from your hotel and transfer to Yangon Airport for your flight to Myitkyina. Arrive at Myitkyina Airport and drive to Hopin. Take a drive (approx. 2½ hours) from Myitkyina to the quiet provincial town of Mogaung, where we have to stop at the Immigration Office. Visit Local Market and stroll through the town centre. Then drive Indawgyi Lake which is 16 miles long and 7 miles wide (approximately 3 hours drive). Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Accommodation at ……. Hotel, Indawgyi Lake.

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. This morning, board local boats and enjoy exploring the lake, where the scenery looks almost European with lots of grass and trees. Visit Mot Soe Ma Pagoda and Shwe Myint Zu Pagoda (which is located in the middle of the lake). Visit a small Shan village populated by Tai Leng minority people and enjoy seeing their simple ways of life – mostly they are fishermen. Return to your hotel. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Enjoy breakfast at hotel. This morning, visit the busy market of Myitkyina. Visit the small Cultural Museum (if open) and see traditional artefacts, tribal costumes, cooking utensils, etc. Lunch at local restaurant. This afternoon, drive out of Myitkyina to Myit Sone. Here you will see the confluence of the May Kha and Mali Kha Rivers, and the surrounding mountains. On the way back to Myitkyina, stop at Karein Dong Recreation Park from where you have nice views.
