 One of the first golf facilities in Myanmar - designed by the only Burmese Asian tour player. The OLD COURSE built in 1994 is hilly with wide and open fairways and some waterhazards. The SILVER COURSE was added in 1996 with an abundance - hence the name - of water on 15 holes including three spectacular par 3 with nearly any airway. A choice of four tees - rare in Burma - makes it however playable for every level of skill. The par 5#18 - a dogleg with OB, water on both sides and 527 yards is your last test before you reach the functional clubhouse with bar, restaurant, pro-shop and changing facilities. Putting green and driving range are available as well as a limited number carts. Jeans / T.Shirt not permitted. |

 The "Pride of Myanmar" is the newest and absolutely the best golf course in Myanmar. Located across the Hlaing River, the golf course offers great facilities of very high standard. Due to the excellent location, the course offers a nice view on downtown Yangon, as well as the rural outskirts of Yangon. Clubhouse attached with local restaurant and breakfast, lunch are available. Smart casual dress, longer socks are required when you are in shorts. Jeans are not acceptable and men's shirts must have collars. Only SOFT SPIKES allowed. Absolutely the best in Myanmar and not to be missed! |

This golf course is located Northwest of Yangon and has been built during the colonial days (1904). It takes about 45 minutes drive from downtown Yangon to the Yangon Golf club and a bit far from the hotel. However, it is one of the oldest and the best golf courses in Myanmar. It is an APGA Standard golf course and the fair ways, tee boxes and greens are very nice. As the course is well frequented, it is best to book well in advance (particularly for weekends). Chances to obtain confirmations are best if tee-off times before 08.00 a.m.and before 01.30 p.m. are requested. |
